One of my favourite authors ever is Holly Jackson. Over the past few years, Holly Jackson has become the go-to author for young adult thriller book recommendations, but did you know she’s about to release her adult debut?
So, how many books has Holly Jackson written? What are Holly Jackson’s books about?
Here’s a quick guide to every book that Holly Jackson has written!

A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder (AGGGTM 1)
5 years ago, schoolgirl Andie Bell disappeared and her boyfriend, Sal Singh, quickly becomes the main suspect. The next day, he’s found dead in the woods and his dad has received a text from him apologising. No one was ever charged and Andie’s body was never found, but everyone knows that Sal Singh killed her.
But, Pip isn’t so sure. She’s grown up in this town and was only a kid when it happened but she’s convinced that Sal is innocent. So, when she has to choose a topic for her EPQ she decides to reinvestigate the case with the help of Sal’s younger brother, Ravi.
This is the first book in the A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder series. It’s a young adult series.

Good Girl, Bad Blood (AGGGTM 2)
After the events of A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, Pip has released a true crime podcast about the murder case that went viral but she’s insistent that her crime investigating days are behind her.
Until her friend comes to her in a moment of desperation: his brother has disappeared and he’s sure that something bad has happened to him. The police refuse to look for him so it’s left to Pip, and throughout her investigation she learns that her small town has far more dark secrets than she ever realised.
This is the second book in the A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder series.

As Good As Dead (AGGGTM 3)
Pip is getting ready to head off to university but she’s still haunted by the way her last investigation ended. She’s used to online death threats from her viral podcast but she can’t help but notice one message that she keeps receiving: who will look for you when you’re the one who disappears?
She soon realises that the threats are escalating and when the police don’t take her seriously, she discovers a connection between her stalker and a local serial killer that was caught 6 years ago. She begins to wonder if the wrong person was arrested and must investigate the crimes or risk being his next victim.
This is the third and final book in the A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder series.

Kill Joy (AGGGTM 0.5)
Pippa and her friends are all dressed up in fancy dress for a murder mystery party. Pippa is not really in the mood to play, she’s far more interested in trying to come up with a topic for her EPQ, but quickly finds herself completely drawn into the mystery.
This is a prequel to the A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder series. It’s set before the first book and features most of the main characters from the trilogy, with the exception of Ravi. He appears briefly at the end of the book but is not a main character. I’d recommend reading this book after you’ve finished the trilogy, but at least after you’ve finished the first book. It’s so much better if you know the characters!

Five Survive
Red and her 5 friends are on a roadtrip in an RV when it breaks down in the middle of nowhere. After some investigation they realise that all 4 of their tyres have been shot out and they have no phone signal to call for help.
There’s a sniper out there watching them and he knows exactly who each of them are. One of them has a secret that the sniper is willing to kill for. Over 8 hours, each friend is forced to reveal their deepest, darkest secrets or risk being killed for them.
